Clayton Utz

New addition. Clayton Utz becomes the second Australian firm to get the GAR 100 stamp of approval. The firm's reputation developed initially through Doug Jones and Michael Pryles. Jones works from Sydney. He chairs the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators' board of trustees and is serving president of the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (ACICA). He is also on GAR's editorial board. Jones is an authority on construction disputes. Michael Pryles is a consultant in Melbourne and one of Australia's appointees to the ICSID panel of arbitrators. He is serving on two ICSID panels. Their practices are these days angled towards accepting appointments more than client work.
