David Edwards

O'Melveny & Myers LLP

David Edwards is a senior associate in the London office of O'Melveny & Myers LLP, specialising in international arbitration and cross-border dispute resolution. David has acted in arbitrations conducted under all the major European institutional rules as well as in numerous ad hoc arbitrations. His practice also includes representing clients in English High Court litigation, particularly in disputes relating to banking, financial services and investment funds. Most recently, David was a member of the team acting for an offshore construction specialist in its US$150 million ICC arbitration against a well-known oil company, and he has advised a major investment bank in connection with the restructuring of a US$8 billion structured investment vehicle following the recent US sub-prime mortgage crisis.
David is a graduate of Exeter University. He is an associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and a member of the LCIA and the IBA.
