Chou Sean Yu
Chou Sean Yu is a partner in the international arbitration group at WongPartnership.
He is also the head of its banking and financial disputes practice, the joint head of the restructuring and insolvency practice and a partner in the financial services regulatory practice.
Sean Yu’s main areas of practice are litigation and arbitration work with particular expertise in banking and trade finance disputes, commercial and corporate disputes, insolvency and restructuring, corporate fraud, investigations and asset recovery, shareholder litigation and tort and contractual claims. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and is currently a director of the board of its Singapore Branch. He is a Fellow of the Insolvency Practitioners Association of Singapore and is on the panel of arbitrators of the Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration and the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board. Sean Yu has been recommended for his restructuring and insolvency work by PLC in its Which Lawyer - Restructuring and Insolvency and by Chambers Asia.
