Duncan Speller
Duncan Speller is a counsel with Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP, based in the firm’s London office. He specialises in international arbitration, international litigation and English High Court litigation. Mr Speller is an English barrister. He has substantial experience with international commercial litigation in both the English Court of Appeal and in the commercial and chancery divisions of the High Court. He has had particular exposure to litigation and arbitration concerning aviation, insurance and reinsurance, telecommunications and banking issues. He has recently been involved in a number of high-value cross-border arbitrations including arbitrations seated in London, Munich, New York and Zurich.
Mr Speller was called to the Bar of England and Wales by Lincoln’s Inn in November 2001 and taught commercial law and EU law for two years at the University of Cambridge.
