John L Gardiner is a New York partner of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, and the co-head of international litigation and arbitration, Americas. He represents clients in commercial disputes in both federal and state courts in the United States, and before international and domestic arbitral tribunals such as the ICC and ICDR. Mr Gardiner also has acted as an arbitrator in complex international corporate disputes under the ICC, ICDR and UNCITRAL rules, and has acted as a mediator in complicated corporate and partnership separation situations.
