Mr Chitale has represented a number of Indian and foreign companies in both domestic and international arbitrations, has represented clients in Supreme Court of India and in various High Courts throughout India. Mr Chitale has represented clients before courts and tribunals in various actions including petition for appointment of arbitrators, for setting aside awards, for interim measures of protection, etc. The areas of experience of Mr Chitale include international litigations and arbitrations, construction industry litigations and arbitrations, shipping contracts, joint venture disputes, company law disputes, disputes relating to draw down of bank guarantees, entertainment industry disputes, tunnelling contracts, debt recovery, mergers and amalgamations, schemes of arrangements, anti trust and competition matters, etc. Mr Chitale is a member of the Supreme Court of India Bar Association, Delhi High Court Bar Association, International Bar Association, Inter-Pacific Bar Association, and American Bar Association.
