Filipe Vaz Pinto obtained a law degree from the law school of the New University of Lisbon 2002 and joined the firm Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva & Associados in the same year.
Filipe has been a member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 2004. Currently, he works primarily in dispute resolution, either arbitral or judicial, in contractual, corporate and securities disputes. He has participated in several arbitration proceedings, domestic and international, as well as important civil, commercial and criminal judicial cases.
Since 2004, he has been a PhD student in the law school of the New University of Lisbon and is preparing his doctoral thesis. In 2007, he obtained an LLM degree from the University of California at Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law.
