Ramiro Guevara
Ramiro obtained his law degree from the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés in La Paz, Bolivia. Additionally, he obtained an MBA at the Université des Sciences Sociales and completed post graduate studies in International Commerce at the Institut d'Etudes Internationales et de Développement in Toulouse, France. He also participated in the Seminar on Investment Treaties, Investment Agreements and Joint Ventures at the Institut International de Droit du Développement in Rome, Italy.
He has taught at the Universidad Católica Boliviana. He also gave various lectures and workshops regarding investment bonds, hydrocarbons law and legal security in Bolivia, international arbitration and finance law.
His experience led to his participation in the drafting commission charged with drafting of the following Bolivian Laws: Central Bank Law, Conciliation and Arbitration Law, Export Endorsement Law, Securities Law, Pension Funds Law, and Hydrocarbons Law.Return to: Bolivia
