Alejandro Garcia is an associate in the international arbitration team at Bird & Bird, where he concentrates his practice on international disputes involving intellectual property, information technology, media and complex commercial issues.
Before joining Bird & Bird, Alejandro worked at the arbitration and mediation centre of the World Intellectual Property Organisation, Geneva, Switzerland, where he administered some of the largest and most complex arbitrations filed under the WIPO arbitration rules. Alejandro has also worked at leading law firms in Washington, DC and Chile.
Alejandro is admitted to practise in New York and Chile. He holds law degrees from Harvard law school (LLM 2005, Fulbright Scholar) and from the University of Chile law school (LLB 2001, summa cum laude).
