Rowley challenged in Venezuela and Pakistan cases

Venezuela has requested the removal of J William Rowley QC as chair of an ICSID tribunal hearing a US$400 million claim by a US gas investor. Meanwhile, the Canadian arbitrator has resigned from an ICC panel in a Pakistani mining dispute after one side alleged a conflict.
