Majken Korsgård Petersen
Majken Korsgård Petersen was educated at the
University of Copenhagen and practises as an attorney
at law at Danders & More, where she works
as adviser to a number of national and international
companies and organisations. Majken is also experienced in international and cross-border transactions,
with a focus on corporate and commercial
relations in particular. Moreover, Majken has a special
interest in the aspects of banking and finance, an interest
that is founded in an LLM in Banking and Finance
Law from Kings College, London. Majken expects to
become qualified solicitor in England & Wales in the
beginning of 2007.
Before practising at Danders & More, Makjen
worked in the legal department of the Danish Ministry
of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defence,
where she handled public law issues and international
issues, including agreements and conventions. After
finishing her LLM, Majken worked with the large
law firm DentonWildeSapte in London, well-known
within the banking and finance business.
Majken has thus always spent a great deal of her
time focusing on international aspects and today, concurrently
with her career at Danders & More, she is
acting as military legal adviser to the general of Denmarkメs
largest military unit aimed at international tasks
ヨ Danish Division. Through this, Majken has developed
her negotiating and analytical skills and thus also
her ability to focus on solutions and results. In addition
to the above qualities, Majken is also a true fighter, a
feature developed through many years as competitive
swimmer.
Majken was born on 22 September 1969 in Jutland,
where she also grew up. Today she lives with her husband
and their two children north of Copenhagen.
Majken speaks Scandinavian and English.
