Atul Chitale
Atul Chitale is a partner of A Y Chitale & Associates
and has 20 years of experience in litigation,
dispute resolution and arbitration, including domestic and international
litigations and arbitrations. Mr Chitale has represented a
number of Indian and foreign companies in both domestic and
international arbitrations, and has represented clients in Supreme
Court of India and in various High Courts throughout India. Mr
Chitale has represented clients before courts and tribunals in various
actions, including petitions for appointment of arbitrators, for
setting aside awards, for interim measures of protection, etc. Mr
Chitale's areas of experience include international litigations and
arbitrations, construction industry litigations and arbitrations, shipping
contracts, joint venture disputes, company law disputes, disputes
relating to draw-down of bank guarantees, entertainment
industry disputes, tunnelling contracts, debt recovery, mergers and
amalgamations, schemes of arrangement, antitrust and competition
matters, etc. Mr Chitale is a member of the Supreme Court of India
Bar Association, Delhi High Court Bar Association, International
Bar Association, Inter-Pacific Bar Association and American Bar
Association. Mr Chitale is also a member of the LCIA and the
SIAC.
