Kathryn Sanger
Kathryn Sanger is a senior associate in Clifford
Chance Hong Kong's litigation and dispute resolution
practice and a core member of the Asia arbitration group.
Kathryn has over eight years' experience of commercial contentious
work with a particular focus on arbitration.
She speaks and reads Mandarin and has a BA Hons from Oxford
University in Oriental Studies (Chinese). She also has a PRC Law
Diploma from Hong Kong University.
Kathryn is often invited to speak at conferences on PRCrelated
arbitration.
She regularly assumes the lead role on matters and is closely
involved with the management of a number of client relationships.
Examples of recent work include representing foreign investors
in a series of high-value Hong Kong arbitrations in relation to PRC
joint venture disputes; advising clients in respect of various PRC related
legal issues and on general commercial arbitration issues; and
advising and representing international banks in relation to general
banking commercial litigation and arbitration matters.
